Please read this before you submit!  Quoted from CNYMOD's By-Laws:      Prospective members are welcomed to visit the club and attend a club meeting while contemplating membership. Membership in CNYMOD is open to any individual who shares the objectives of the organization.  There are three levels of membership: Full Members, Associate Members, and Student Members.   All new members enter as an Associate Members for the first 6 months. After 6 months Associate members may remain as Associate Members or, on approval by the full members may become a Full Member.            Full Members pay an annual membership fee of $120 ($60 for the spouse of a full member) and are entitled to the following: (red listings restricted to Full Members only) 1. Voting rights on all member issues 2. Full privileges at any time to use the club modeling facilities 3. Eligibility to hold office and chair standing committees 4. Reimbursement for approved travel expenses to club shows when those funds are available and authorized by the club 5. Full rights in helping to construct and maintain both the home layout and the travel layout 6. Operating privileges on the home layout and the travel layout at shows 7. Participation in all club events           Associate Members pay an annual membership fee of $60 ($30 for the spouse of a full member) and are entitled to the following: 1. Full rights in helping to construct and maintain both the home layout and the travel layout 2. Operating privileges on the home layout and travel layout at shows 3. Display privileges of models on the home and travel layouts at the discretion of the module owner 4. Participation on any standing committees 5. Input in all club matters 6. Participation in all club events           Student Members pay an annual membership fee of $30 and are afforded the same privileges as Associate Members except that they can gain voting rights when they have been a member for one year and reach the age of 16. This category is reserved for members that are currently under 22, in school fulltime and have no appreciable income.
